So let me begin with a thorough explanation. Firstly and rather strangely I want to tell you about my font choice.
For some years now – 3 or 4 to be minimally accurate, I have been choosing to write most things in Comic Sans, it is something that I have got into since I became a teacher.
Comic Sans seems to be the preferred choice for the very young (sometimes known as little people) as the text appears most similar to how they are taught to write (no funny curly letters, just letters they recognize).
And I, through nothing more complex than habit, have adopted this text as my everyday type set. Hear I would like to mention that although my taste has adapted to some of the simpler things in life, I am far from simple, just thought I’d clear that up.
Virgin territory, yes I am a virgin, however not in the sexual sense but in the ‘I am a blogger virgin’ meaning.
Not of much interest, but a fair bit of excitement for me, I’m expecting great things from this blogging. My very best friend in the whole wide world has been on my case for a great length of time now, trying her hardest to get me to blog – your wish, is my blog, Miss Luu (FINALLY – I hear you say).
She of course has been blogging for the better part of 2 years now and seems to be a raving hit; I am by no means biased in saying that she is, like my wonderful self, fabulous. Long live www.loveleluu.blogspot.com and the fantastic www.fernandezandleluu.co.uk supper club. The food and ambiance really is super duper divine.
Finally, thetravelbabbleblog, befitting I thought as it will be a general account of my life, past, present and future, all the travel that I do/have done. From the mundane everyday travel that is life plodding along regardless of weather I am ready for it, to the planned travelling that takes and has taken me further afield. As for the babble – well if you haven’t worked that out from the above, then stick around, mumbo jumbo (babble) is my specialty.
I have just seen the weather, rain. If I had more time I would walk to work in my much loved wellies, but having been off sick (for the 100th time this lifetime) every minute counts and such pleasures have to be put on hold till the holidays. Instead I will be travelling by car listening to Chis Evans. Got to love BBC radio2 www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/chris-evans/ (especially if your car radio only picks up radio2, so much for modern technology)
Night night.
